Question 1

How are you different from every other AI consultant?

Accepted Answer

We start with participation, not a deck. AI adoption is a culture problem: your team needs the confidence and permission to try AI on real work. Our challenges combine business briefs, live coaching and friendly competition; quarterly and annual programmes turn that into a habit. This is one end-to-end enablement journey: Catalyse through expertly designed competition and innovation experiences, Embed with Fractional CAIO / AI Concierge, and Transform through DotCom→DotAI Transformation builds the strongest opportunities into operational systems. Education and implementation reinforce each other, with internal ownership, adoption metrics and responsible AI throughout.

Question 2

Do you build software for us?

Accepted Answer

Yes. In DotCom→DotAI Transformation, we design, build, integrate and deploy AI automations, agents and internal tools for your business. Challenges produce experiments and prototypes, not a promise of production-ready software. The retainer includes live working builds and senior direction; larger delivery is scoped separately. We are vendor-agnostic and do not resell software licences. Your systems and artefacts remain yours.

Question 3

How does an engagement typically start?

Accepted Answer

With a 30-minute alignment call about your business priorities, teams and approved tools. Most mid-market operators start with an AI challenge or hackathon, or choose a quarterly or annual innovation programme. If the priorities are unclear, the standalone AI Opportunity Diagnostic can map them first. Ongoing AI leadership and dedicated implementation are optional next steps, not mandatory upgrades.

Question 4

Do you work remotely or on-site?

Accepted Answer

Both. Challenges and hackathons can be on-site or remote, with the format tailored to the team. The Fractional CAIO / AI Concierge retainer runs remotely. Dedicated implementation combines delivery work with operator sessions, agreed around your needs.

Question 5

How long does a typical engagement last?

Accepted Answer

A focused challenge or hackathon typically runs over 1–2 days, with preparation and follow-up. Recurring series can run quarterly or across a full year. The Fractional CAIO / AI Concierge is a monthly retainer with two working calls. DotCom→DotAI Transformation typically runs 8–12 weeks, with duration agreed by scope. The Opportunity Diagnostic takes about 10 days from audit to readout.

Question 6

Can we run challenges every quarter or across a full year?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A quarterly challenge series repeats the cycle around new business priorities, with ownership and adoption reviews between rounds. An annual innovation programme packages quarterly challenges, targeted live sessions, champion support and leadership reviews into one calendar. We scope the cadence, teams and investment together; it is not four unrelated events.

Question 7

Who is this not for?

Accepted Answer

Teams looking only for a generic intro-to-ChatGPT presentation, or an event disconnected from business priorities. We focus on mid-market operators and cross-functional teams who want practical experimentation, shared habits and a clear route to implementation.

Question 8

How do your indicative prices work?

Accepted Answer

We publish indicative ranges in pounds, euros and dollars: challenges £5,000–£15,000 · €5,000–€15,000 · $5,000–$15,000; Fractional CAIO / AI Concierge £1,000–£2,000 / month · €1,000–€2,000 / month · $1,000–$2,000 / month; DotCom→DotAI Transformation £10,000–£30,000+ · €10,000–€30,000+ · $10,000–$30,000+; Opportunity Diagnostic £499–£999 · €499–€999 · $499–$999. These keep the same numerical range in each currency and are not exchange-rate conversions. Final quotes are agreed by scope in your chosen currency. Quarterly and annual challenge packages are quoted separately.

Question 9

What changes the price?

Accepted Answer

Team size, number of challenge rounds, preparation and coaching depth, on-site or remote delivery, and sensitive-data requirements. For implementation, complexity, integrations and the number of solutions also matter. Quarterly and annual innovation programmes are quoted as a series rather than at a single event price.

Question 10

Do you offer a starting-point engagement?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A focused challenge or hackathon is the Catalyse phase: it gets teams practising on a relevant problem and reveals what is worth pursuing. If you need a clearer opportunity map first, choose the standalone AI Opportunity Diagnostic. Its full fee is credited against any engagement booked within 30 days of the readout.

Question 11

Do participants need a technical background?

Accepted Answer

No. Challenges are designed for operators in finance, marketing, legal, operations and leadership, not just engineers. Teams get approved tools, clear briefs and live coaching. Vibe coding is available where useful, but usefulness and business value matter more than code complexity.

Question 12

What tools do we use?

Accepted Answer

Whichever ones your team will actually use after we leave. Usually some mix of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, and your sanctioned internal tools. We are vendor agnostic — the tools are ingredients, the workflows are the meal.

Question 13

Will my team build real things?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with a clear distinction between formats. Challenges produce prototypes and workflow experiments that teams demo and evaluate. Recurring programmes develop that pipeline over time. Retainer calls support practical live builds. DotCom→DotAI Transformation turns agreed opportunities into tested, integrated operational systems, with documentation and internal ownership.

Question 14

How do you handle confidential material?

Accepted Answer

Under NDA from the first scoping call. Workshops use anonymised versions of your real artefacts. Nothing shared in sessions is reused with other clients without explicit permission.

Question 15

Can you work inside our sanctioned tool stack only?

Accepted Answer

Yes — common in regulated environments. The training and prompts will target only the tools your security and compliance teams have approved.

Question 16

Do you share client names?

Accepted Answer

Only with explicit permission. Case studies on this site are anonymised on purpose.

Question 17

Who runs the work?

Accepted Answer

A small, senior bench of founders, operators, engineers and policy people who've shipped AI inside VC-backed startups, big tech and regulated financial services — most recently inside a leading fintech at $500M ARR and a $7B+ valuation.

Question 18

How long have you been working in AI?

Accepted Answer

Since 2020 — through the move from research-y models to production systems, then through the LLM and agent waves.

Question 19

Will I work with the same people throughout?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every engagement is led by a senior partner and staffed with a small consistent team. You'll always meet everyone before they touch your team.
